I am a married, mother of two, with a career in tech who is fiercely passionate about personal finance and wealth building. Born and raised in California, I was very fortunate to grow up in a financially healthy household and my interest in personal finance started in my teens. I realize this is not the norm - and I am here to help fill in some gaps in personal finance education, as well as in the personal financial services industry. While I have been fairly knowledgeable in personal finance for years, I have in the past found myself becoming complacent and not applying my own knowledge. Thankfully, I was able to turn things around pretty quickly by actually applying the personal finance skills I had acquired. I realized if I, a self proclaimed finance nerd would catch myself not at my best financial self, there must be many others I can help.
I am committed to helping as many of you as I can realize that you are not "bad with money" - personal finance education is seriously lacking, and on top of that - marketing nowadays does a really good job of convincing us to spend more, while topics on saving and building wealth are often filled with mixed messages - unfortunately including messaging that does not have our best interest at heart. On top of that if you want to work with a professional - many of them will not talk to you unless you already have a high net worth. What?? Trust me, it is not you. But we can make a change - starting now!
I am here to tell you that there is a way, and you can do it. I am here to provide a safe space for you to talk freely about finances - highs, lows, and everything in between. I am fueled by my passion to help others break free from the stresses that money can bring. In my decade plus experience of managing my own money and wealth, I have overseen my investments through the 2007 financial crisis, purchased and managed real estate properties, travelled the world, started a family, and helped us purchase our family home in California. I have worked through all the road blocks in between, made mistakes, learned from them, and now I am looking forward to help you realize and reach your own financial goals. I am excited to filter out the noise for you, come up with a game plan, and help get you get on the right foot in your financial fitness journey. I will always have your best interest at heart and all I am looking to gain is to help you reach your full financial potential.
